About me
Clare Heath is an educational consultant, coach, and teacher trainer. She has over twenty years of experience working with children from toddler through eighth grade. She holds both Lower and Upper Elementary certifications from the American Montessori Society. She is a certified Montessori Coach (NCMPS); completed equity and social justice training (SEED & Courageous Conversations); is trained in the PAF Reading Program; and holds a certificate in Mindfulness Fundamentals (Mindful Schools). Clare has served as the Lower Elementary Language Trainer for both Montessori Residency in Chicago and Midwest Montessori Teacher Training Centers. As a classroom teacher, she was sparked by Montessori’s concepts of spiritual preparation, observation and reflection, nurturing each person’s “cosmic task.” Clare has worked with Montessori Schools throughout the midwest, served as Assistant Head of School at Chiaravalle Montessori, and is currently the Montessori Coach at Drummond Montessori (Chicago Public Schools). She cares deeply about supporting teachers, administrators, and families so they can bring their best selves and skills to working with our children. Clare is the mother to two teenagers. Some of her passions outside of education include drinking tea, playing guitar and singing, being in nature, serving as a doula, and hosting dance parties.
