About me
Erin Hardin is a Montessori Consultant and was an Early Childhood guide for 25 years. She is one of the instructors of the American Montessori Society's Early Childhood Reading Certificate course and has co-authored multiple articles on evidence-based practices in Early Childhood classrooms for Montessori Life magazine. She holds a BS in Psychology/Biology and an EC credential from the American Montessori Society. She has trained as an Orton-Gillingham Therapist, has a Montessori Applied to Children At Risk credential, and has a certification of mastery from Language Essentials for Teacher of Reading and Spelling (LETRS K-5). She has effectively led schools in applying evidence-based literacy instruction across grade levels and continues to develop curriculum through the Montessori lens. Erin is passionate about working with teachers and school administrators to ensure all children have the opportunity to learn to read and write and is committed to continuing after Dr. Montessori's example of following the child and the science.
