About me
Stacy Moore is an independent consultant and senior leader with experience spanning communications, fundraising, advocacy, community organizing, strategy, operations, and executive leadership. Beginning her career as a classroom teacher in Chicago, Stacy has spent over 15 years in the education sector honing a diverse set of skills and helping organizations positively impact their stakeholders and communities. Stacy has a deep passion for storytelling and relationship building, and she has focused much of her career on creating strategies that leverage relationships, connection, and storytelling to enable organizations to meet their goals. As a development professional, Stacy served as Executive Director of Educators for Excellence-Chicago (E4E), managing a team of 10, a membership base of over 6,500 Chicago educators, and fundraising a budget of $1.1 million. She also worked as a fundraiser for WE Illinois and has managed major federal grant writing projects, Giving Tuesday campaigns for schools and nonprofit organizations, and recently led a messaging and strategy advancement project for Near North Montessori School in Chicago. Stacy graduated Summa Cum Laude from The George Washington University with a B.A. in English and later received a Masters in Public Policy from the Harris School at the University of Chicago. Born and raised in the north suburbs of Chicago, Stacy, her husband, and their two young boys now reside in Lincolnshire, IL.
